Old Crow day 8
Van Gwinzhii, it’s 8:30 am and there’s a little bit of snow.
We set up animation station again and Sebnem worked on the screening poster, and Lisa g made the bumper video with the logos and the year.
Mary Jane started editing right away and ended up almost covering her entire timeline! She continues to collect more media from her camera and photos. Selecting just the right image or video.
Briana got some editing tips and edited her piece from 27 minutes down to 12.
Mariel showed some great NFB animations and specifically Amanda Strong for inspiration.
Megan took young people to the free store for animation supplies: Jack, Sadie, Ben, Mariel and Ashlynn. Then they continued on their animation projects: an abstract flower animation. Jack and Ryder and Ben are working on a paper airplane animation.
Jonathon completed his film old crow and crow flat! it is so cool with a Neil Young song. Megan and Ben had a look!
Florence added images to her whole timeline and Ruth decided on no additional music.
Lunch was a delicious beef pie with corn on the cob! Thanks again to Darrell.
Mariel hosted a Halloween Costume making workshop. Sophia made a salmon costume and many young folks made masks!
The cabin ran out of water and Jeannie helped Sebnem and Lisa g find water jugs to tide them over until tomrrow!
