2023 Bio:

Sophia Flather is a member of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation and lives in Old Crow,

Yukon. Raised in Whitehorse, Yukon, she loves reconnecting and living her culture and

language in her homelands. She has worked in the revitalization of the Gwich’in

language for about 10 years. While learning her language, she also speaks to her son in

Gwich’in.

2018 Bio: I live in Old Crow, YK. I drive my own four wheel and skidoo in the winter. I go out on the land with my brothers, my mom and dad and go hunting. I like music and seing and making beaded earrings.
