Bio: Riley Sampson (She/Her) is a multimedia artist who practices writing, music, drawing, painting and currently focuses on filmmaking.

She has taken several courses from multiple institutions (Thompson Rivers University, Langara College, North Island College) in pursuit of a career in film, such courses focused on different topics consisting of directing, screenwriting, colour theory, film studies, video production and theatre production.

Riley is now working as a mentor and producer for Trapline’s Indigenous Art Community based out of Kamloops BC.

She is of Nlaka’pamux heritage, the first movie she saw in theatres was Finding Nemo (2003) and she’s been aspiring to tell stories ever since.
