Pikangikum on ZOOM - day 3

Today Lisa g and Nadine were able to visit with the teams on ZOOM in the breakout rooms. It was so fun to hear how the ideas have grown!

TEAM SLASHER already has the whole creepy story actualized! They have even cast the characters! This team is still deciding location choices as well as figuring out props & costumes - they need clothes that can be bloodied… Art teacher, Vanessa, thinks she has a line on ketchup from the cafeteria! AMAZING!
Tyra is playing Stacy, the hysterical/scared character. Sharmel will portray Jane, the brave friend. Danica is Eden, the smart friend. Neebam will be the dead body and SPOILER ALERT…

Larissa is playing Riley who, unbeknownst to her friends, is the murderer…DUH DUH DUHHHHHH!

Cheryl and Maddie…(Nadine is away today) decided…after watching different styles of animation… that they wanted to make drawings as their style of film …and animate a story from there. Working together they wrote the story of Bingo’s Abduction!!! It is a simple tale of Bingo, a hairless cat, who, while closing up the local restaurant …has a visit from a friend -the frog - who whisks Bingo away in a spaceship! This team is excited to makes backgrounds and puppets. SO. COOL.

Lakota was away today but Teri and Liana were gravitating toward voice over and puppetry! They worked on their storyboard and dialogue points! GOOD WORK!

Josiah, Quentin, Creighton, Jordan and Pierre will make a film about breaking into school to change their grade. HILARIOUS! They will use only one location: the school and grounds. They will create a bedroom/house space within the school - the art of set dec! This team will be in front and behind the camera. This team developed their story and considered a storyboard. They all want to take turns as camera person and will use a tripod for times they all appear on screen.

Thanks everyone for ALL THE HARD WORK! Super Excited to see these films unfold!
